Proč sensu Hans Till? Protože právě o tomto taxonu vydal Hans Till pojednání v rakouském časopisu Gymnocalycium 2011, 24 (4) str 1007 – 1016. Autor uvádí historii taxonu a přichází s novým objevem, totiž že autoři americké publikace The Cactaceae Britton a Rose z roku 1922 chybně zpracovali původní popis Spegazziniho, který vyšel jen v Latině v Cactearum Platensium Tentamen v Buenos Aires 1905, a pak tento omyl dál následoval. Nyní po zkoumání historických pramenů přichází se závěrem, že Gymn stuckertii je vlastně nynější Gymn. monvillei v coloratum. Zda tomu tak je či ne si netroufám tvrdit. Z historie však je známo, že dr. B Schütz řadil Gymn stuckertii ke Gymn pungens, naopak pražský gymnofil ing Jiránek měl za Gymn stuckertii Gymn miltii nebo fischeri. Nebudu zde dále tento problém pitvat, protože druhy obestřené takovým více jak staletým tajemstvím je skutečně těžké posuzovat a člověk se nevyhne subjektivním názorům. Viz poznámky u Gymn. pungens.

Why sensu Hans Till? As Hans Till published the article as to this taxon in the Austrian journal Gymnocalycium 2011, 24 (4), pages 1007 – 1016. The author mentioned the history of the taxon and he comes with the new opinion that the authors of the book The Cactaceae Britton and Rose from USA had wrongly translated the original description of Spegazzini which appeared only in the Latin language in the Cactacearum Platensium Tentamen in Buenos Aires in 1905 and this mistake went long time more. Now, Hans Till comes to the conclusion after historical sources searching that Gymn stuckertii is substantial Gymn monvillei v coloratum of the time being. I have no audacity to say if it is right or not. However, we have known from the history that dr Bohumil Schütz had rowed Gymn stuckertii to Gymn pungens, on the other hand the gymnospecialist ing Václav Jiránek from Prague holds Gymn stuckertii like Gymn miltii or Gymn fischeri. I will be not engaged with this problem because the taxa with the more than one century old mystery is really not possible to judge and one is not able to meet any object opinion.
