V evropských sbírkách byly pod tímto jménem rozšiřovány rostliny původně označené polním číslem Knolla WO 66, taxon není popsaný a není známý ani autor jména, taxon patří do příbuzenství Gymn. moserianum a Gymn. intermedium a má 3 – 5 odstávajících trnů až 5 cm dlouhých.
